Do you have CONSERVATION ​NEEDS? 
Paul Gardère Studio is the only legal entity able to authenticate works of art believed to be by Paul Gardère. Even signed works found on the secondary market should be verified with the estate archives prior to auction listing and/or purchase unless the work was purchased directly from the artist or provenance is known and documented. Paul Gardère Studio encourages due diligence and welcomes inquiries to verify authenticity before purchase on the uncontrolled secondary market where unscrupulous actors are common.  If requested, the issue of a Certificate of Authenticity outside the primary sale of artwork incurs a one-time fee. Please be advised that the Paul Gardère Studio cannot provide artwork appraisal services.

Physically keeping artwork in its best condition over time requires care, special cleaning, and advanced skills for repair. Paul Gardère Studio works alongside talented conservators in New York City and beyond to assist collectors in the event of unforeseen circumstances. It is recommended to consult with the artist's estate on the conservation of the artist's work if possible, especially if you are unfamiliar with conservation processes or the artwork medium. If you find yourself in this position, feel free to reach out and we'll happily answer questions, advise, and coordinate with your chosen AIC registered conservator to supervise the conservation and restoration of your Paul Gardère original. Service rates apply for cases requiring travel or in person assessment.
